Enric Figueras
Assistant Academic Dean - Barcelona
As the Assistant Academic Dean in Barcelona, Enric Figueras assists the Associate Academic Dean in ensuring that academic policies and procedures are followed and provides support to the faculty to ensure academic program integrity. More specifically, Mr. Figueras assists in managing faculty relationships, scheduling courses, managing student and faculty grievances, recommending curriculum updates, providing academic advising and overseeing the day-to-day academic activities of the Barcelona program.
Mr. Figueras has over ten years of experience in the field of academia. He taught at Boise State University where he created an online language teaching program and developed the Spanish course curriculum in the fields of Spanish linguistics and Spanish for Heritage Learners. He also coordinated the Spanish language program and served as the Director of the undergraduate Spanish program.
Mr. Figueras holds a Masters degree in Spanish from Middlebury College in Vermont, and a Bachelors degree in Communications/Journalism from Boise State University. He is trilingual in English, Spanish, and Catalan and also has extensive knowledge of Portuguese as well as working knowledge of French.
