Jesus Diaz Vidal
Academic Coordinator - Seville
As an enthusiastic teacher, Mr. Diaz first came in contact with CEA as a language instructor at the University of Seville, teaching English and collaborating with several study abroad programs. Currently, Mr. Diaz teaches at CEA in unison with his academic duties.
Mr. Diaz works closely with the Program Director and reports to the Academic Director of Spain Programs. He ensures that academic policies and procedures are followed and provides support to the faculty to ensure that academic program integrity. He also makes recommendations for faculty appointments, schedules courses, holds regular faculty meetings, manages student and faculty grievances, recommendations curriculum updates and oversees the day-to-day academic activities of the programs in Seville.
Mr. Diaz majored in Linguistic Studies from the University of Seville and is pursuing his Ph.D. in the same field, specifically in the teaching of the spoken component of a second language to deaf learners.
