Irene Messana
Senior Manager of University Relations
As the Senior Manager of University Relations, Irene Messana is responsible for managing all assigned projects of the University Relations Team. She supports CEA's Regional Consultants and University Advisors to build and sustain mutually beneficial relationships with US Universities. Ms. Messana ensures connectivity between the CEA regional satellite offices and the home office, and plans and oversees CEA's presence at conferences. She is also tasked with special company projects and reports directly to the Chairman & CEO.
Prior to CEA, Ms. Messana worked in the field of education for more than 10 years, serving as a Financial Aid Officer for a large, proprietary school and then as a Student Relations Director, charged with developing and implementing training programs for student advisors, improving overall student retention rates and designing student communication protocol.
Ms. Messana is fluent in Spanish and personal travels have taken her throughout Mexico and to several sites along the Mediterranean.
