
Dr. Paige E. Sindt
Director of Custom Programs
As the Director of Custom Programs, Dr. Paige E. Sindt is responsible for the development and implementation of custom group and faculty-led initiatives, including overall program planning, development and adherence to CEA academic policies and procedures. Dr. Sindt works closely with faculty and administrators from colleges and universities throughout the U.S. to structure programs that meet the programmatic and academic needs of the home institution.
Prior to joining CEA, Dr. Sindt served as an instructor and administrator at Arizona State University, working in study abroad, student development, academic affairs, curriculum development and first-year student retention throughout her time at ASU. She also served as a civilian youth counselor for the United States ARMY and Marine Corps and was stationed in Japan, Italy and Germany.
Dr. Sindt earned her Doctorate in Educational Policy and Leadership Studies in Higher Education at Arizona State University. Her dissertation entitled, "Internationalization and Higher Education: Understanding the Impact of Short-Term Study Abroad" examines institutional impact and individual outcomes of participation in study abroad, with a particular focus on short-term programs. Dr. Sindt also holds a Master's degree in Higher and Postsecondary Education from Arizona State University. Her B.A. in Psychology and Spanish is from Cornell College in Mount Vernon, Iowa. She is a past fellow of the Arizona Education Policy Fellowship Program for education leaders and is a member of NAFSA: Association of International Educators and NASPA – Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education.
