Mike Parmeley
Director of Network Infastructure
As the Director of Network Infrastructure, Mike Parmeley’s responsibilities are to ensure proper network technology operations throughout CEAs corporate and International locations with minimal end user impact, along with managing IT Network staff locally and in Europe as well as multiple 3rd party vendors as is relates to network and server technology. Along with day-to-day operations Mike is responsible for the overall network infrastructure strategy and architecture for the global infrastructure.
Mr. Parmeley brings over 23 years in information technology to CEA. Most recently Mr. Parmeley came from University of Phoenix (UoP), were here served six years in a senior network engineering role responsible for building UoP data centers, architecting campuses, managing several large scale technology projects in an education arena. In addition to Mr. Parmeley’s technology background in education, he has a well rounded background with Network engineering architectures, operations and management with such companies as MCI/Worldcom, Ross Dress for Less Stores and IT consulting companies. Mr. Parmeley’s wealth of knowledge and experience in various IT arenas brings a solid information technology foundation to CEA.
Mr. Parmeley has his AAS from Heald Institute of Technology and continued education in information technology with UC Berkeley and UC Santa Cruz. He has obtained various industry certifications from Cisco, Avaya, Juniper, Foundry and other information technology certifications as it relates to information technology, security and compliance.
