Alberto Prieto
Assistant Vice President of Information Systems
As the Assistant Vice President of Information Systems, Alberto Prieto is responsible for managing a team that architects, develops and maintains systems, applications, and database information for the company. He provides strategic direction in the roadmap for the systems and applications and acts as the information architect for the company. Under Mr. Prieto’s leadership the company has developed and implemented most of the applications in use at CEA, including SalesForce and a custom Student Information System.
Before joining CEA in January 2004, Mr. Prieto’s 10 year career in Software Development and Consulting Services has included the development of large and complex systems and applications for Fortune 500 corporations within the United States and abroad. His work as a consultant brought him to places such as Mexico, New York, and Arizona.
Mr. Prieto was born in Mexico City and in 1995, earned a B.S in Computer Systems for Management from the Mexico City campus of Tecnológico de Monterrey. Mr. Prieto is fluent in Spanish and has done extensive traveling throughout Mexico, United States, Canada, Europe, and Israel.
