Tim Boubek

Tim Boubek is the Director of Admissions for CEA, based at our Tempe, Arizona headquarters.

Mr. Boubek oversees the department, which helps to enroll and prepare students to gain the most benefit possible from their study abroad programs – an experience which will be a life-changing one.

A high priority for the department is to attract well qualified students and increase retention percentages, to help ensure students studying abroad attain their goals, with helpful CEA advisement on credit transfer, financing, housing and student visa applications.

Mr. Boubek also serves on the Health and Safety Committee committed to consistently monitor world issues which can impact the wellbeing of a student studying abroad. The Committee has implemented an Emergency Response Plan for use in the event of a localized or major event. He has held several management level positions within the company, including Operations Manager, Human Resources Manager and Director of Student Services Administration.

Mr. Boubek graduated from Western Illinois University with a B.S. in Law Enforcement - Criminal Justice and a minor in Business Administration. In addition, he earned a certificate in Human Resources Management from the University of Phoenix. He brings a special blend of enthusiasm, encouragement, caring and leadership to CEA and the Student Services Department.
