Jon Jorgenson
Senior Regional Consultant
As a Senior Regional Consultant Jon Jorgenson works closely with university advisors, faculty and staff to support the student exploration, advising and registration processes as well as to identify ways in which CEA can assist in the success of the campus' agenda for internationalization.
Prior to joining CEA, Jon’s experience as an International Sales and Marketing Manager, managing international medical device distributors in 14 countries,
eventually led him to work as a Regional Sales Manager for Schwan’s Technology Group and, more recently, as an International Inside Sales Rep for Red Wing Shoe Co. servicing 20 plus distributors worldwide. Jon also has experience within the international freight forwarding industry and knowledge of US Customs shipping requirements.
Jon’s international interests initiated in rural Minnesota while working with the local migrant and exchange programs. These early influences led to a B.S. from Moorhead State University, MN with a double major in International Business and Spanish. The highlights of Jonathan’s college career include a year abroad mastering the Spanish language in Madrid and another spent in Xian, China studying Chinese and Chinese culture. Upon his return, he finished his college career as President of the International Business Club.
