Kathleen M. Ellwood
Senior Regional Consultant
As a Senior Regional Consultant Kathleen M. Ellwood works closely with university advisors, faculty and staff to support the student exploration, advising and registration processes as well as to identify ways in which CEA can assist in the success of the campus' agenda for internationalization.
Prior to joining CEA, Kathleen served as Coordinator of International Studies and Academic Advisor at the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg (UPG) for seven years. While at UPG, she was given the task of building an international program from the ground up. Kathleen has experience with the one-person office and understands the needs of students, colleagues and administrators when working with international education. Her travel experience includes student lead trips to England, France, Italy, Mexico and Cuba. She also participated on a Group Study Exchange Program sponsored by Rotary International traveling throughout the Czech and Slovak Republics.
Kathleen holds an M.A. in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (PA) and a B.S. in Biology from Ohio University (OH). She has been a member of NAFSA: Association of International Educators since 2000.
