CEA Global Education operates nine Global Campuses around the world and is committed to providing high quality academic programs. To do so, it requires seasoned academic leadership in both the home office and at each Global Campus. Below is a brief summary of the primary academic leadership positions at CEA Global Education.
Vice President for Strategic Partnerships (VPSP)
Reports to the Chairman and CEO
The Vice President for Strategic Partnerships is part of CEA Global Education’s leadership team and focuses on identifying strategic opportunities for institutional partnerships. This role involves working closely with CEA Global Education’s CEO, Vice President of Academic Affairs, Vice President of Program Development, and University Relations team to initiate new partnerships with U.S. colleges and universities and to strengthen ties with established partners. The VPSP will lead in the areas of shared presentations at professional conferences, professional development opportunities, education abroad research and joint design of innovative programming abroad. In addition to providing outstanding study programs for students, CEA Global Education has developed a parallel focus on meeting the needs of institutions as they more clearly define their goals for global learning for their students. The VPSG will assure that CEA Global Education programs address institutional as well as student needs and, thus, better serve both constituencies.
Vice President of Academic Affairs (VPAA)
Reports to the Chairman and CEO
As part of CEA Global Education’s senior leadership, the Vice President of Academic Affairs leads CEA’s Academic Affairs team, both in the Tempe home office and internationally. The incumbent helps shape the overall strategy for Global Campus development, new curricular offerings and instructional delivery. In addition to managing Academic Affairs budgeting, staff development and evaluation, the VPAA also provides strategic planning for Global Campus quality assurance. This position is thus responsible for strengthening CEA’s School of Record partnership with the University of New Haven and enhancing the process of regular external evaluation of Global Campus programs. Working with the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and the Vice President of Program Development, the VPAA will continually explore new opportunities for CEA to meet the needs of colleges and universities in the U.S. Through participation in national and international associations, the VPAA will enhance the visibility of CEA’s academic models and initiatives and contribute to the professionalization of education abroad as a vital part of U.S. higher education.
