CEA’s Official University of Record
Quote
Brian Boubek, CEO and Chairman, CEA
"CEA has been working for a number of years with a significant number
of accredited partner universities in the United States and elsewhere.
With these diverse partnerships we have been able to grow and expand.
Today we provide educational programs abroad through our partner universities
overseas and, more significantly of late, through CEA's GlobalCampus sites. However,
given our range and complexity today, and the expanding needs for U.S. study abroad in general,
we have been seeking a true educational partner in the United States who can help us provide the
highest quality academic programs abroad."
CEA and the University of New Haven (UNH) of West Haven, Connecticut, have partnered to promote a comprehensive academic agreement through which UNH will act as the official University of Record for CEA. Consequently, UNH issues transcripts and formally accredits CEA Global Campus programs.

Academic decisions made in the field are in accordance with pre-established criteria for minimal standards set by UNH. The decisions made according to these standards are subject to timely assessment by the University of New Haven, based upon accepted reporting criteria between UNH and CEA.
As the CEA University of Record, UNH insists upon and requires that internal academic controls within CEA be administered by academics whose qualifications approximate those of comparable academic administrators on the home campus and are consistent with requirements of any overseas partner universities.
