CEA GlobalCampus: Rome
This goes way beyond classroom learning...
Imagine having over 2000 years of history, politics, art and culture at your feet. Let Rome be your classroom as you explore not only its historical base, but the influence its history has on the present day. Known as Caput mundi ("capital of the world"), la Città Eterna ("the Eternal City"), or simply l'Urbe ("the City"), discover Rome’s many faces. Travel along the Appian Way, the oldest and most famous road built by the Ancient Romans into the modern day city, a world stage for politics, business, human rights and culture of modern day. Witness politics in action at the Italian Senate, the everyday populous conducting business in the Campo dei Fiori and the crush of humanity descending on the city looking for inspiration whether it be from the Vatican, the priceless museums or cosmopolitan shopping.
Located in Nomentano, Rome’s University district, the Rome GlobalCampus offers a curriculum of unique courses taught by outstanding Professors who are committed to helping you understand the context and significance of today’s global issues and the political impulses and cultural creativity they generate in the city of La Dolce Vita – Rome.
View the CEA GlobalCampus courses, which are designed to help you to experience the international nature of the Eternal City to its fullest and to evaluate critically the ever-changing range of intercultural and political impulses the city has generated since classical antiquity.
