Prizes

Gift Cards – A $500 MasterCard® gift card will be awarded to each chosen CEA MOJO whose creative MOJO strongly shined through in their application, and who meets the specified requirements for the CEA MOJO Promotion. The gift card will be given after the completion of their semester abroad.

iPad– A $500 iPad will be awarded to each chosen CEA MOJO who completes all of the required tasks while abroad. Partial completion of tasks does not qualify for any prize and/or payment. MOJOs will receive their iPads after the completion of their semesters abroad.

Letter of Recommendation – Each official CEA MOJO who completes their tasks while abroad will receive a letter of recommendation , commenting on the international MOJO experience the student now has.

Eligibility

• Only students studying abroad on a Spring 2012 program can be a CEA MOJO
• CEA is only offering the MOJO position to students studying abroad in the following destinations: Buenos Aires, Prague, London, Paris, Florence, Rome, Barcelona, Granada, Madrid and Seville
• CEA MOJOs must show us their MOJO at work to earn their role and prizes
• Must apply between January 20th and February 3rd, 2012
• Must submit a 500-700 word blog post to MOJO@GoWithCEA.com along with a photograph and/or video
• Blog Post topic must cover your preparation for, anticipation of, and first impressions of your study abroad city studying abroad, why you’ve chosen to study abroad, and what skills and/or outcomes you’re hoping to get out of study abroad scholastically, professionally and personally.
• CEA MOJOs will be notified via e-mail of their acceptance by February 13th, 2012.
• Upon completion of their study abroad programs, MOJOs will be notified of their successful completion of their assignments via email by May 31st, 2012.
• Letters of recommendation, $500 gift cards and IPad2s (or equivalent IPad product value of $499) will be delivered no later than 90 days after completion of programs.
• All content produced by CEA MOJOs must be completely original. Anything copied, plagiarized or even cited will be disregarded and disqualify the MOJO from their role
• All prospective MOJOs must possess a payment status that is in good standing with CEA

MOJO Responsibilities
While abroad, all CEA MOJOs must complete the following tasks in order to be eligible to receive an iPad upon their return:

• 4 blog posts covering various study abroad topics chosen by CEA; must be 400-500 words in length
• 2 separate photo essays depicting an excursion, active learning and cultural activity
• Each photo essay must include a minimum of 10 high resolution photos and a document of photo captions.
• Photos must be .jpg’s with a minimum of 1200 x 1800 resolution (typically the standard or  high resolution mode on most digital cameras)
• 2 videos – one being a tour of student housing, and the other a tour of a CEA facility or Global Campus
• Videos must be a minimum of 60 seconds long and 640x480 resolution
• 1 more submission of the student’s choice (blog, photo essay or video) that introduces us to the student’s study abroad city

How we select the MOJOs
When it comes to the content we receive from our prospective CEA MOJOs, our judgment process kicks grammar to the curb. We want to feel the study abroad enthusiasm and passion our prospective MOJOs are filtering into their application content as we read it, watch it or see it. We want our eyes to be glued to our screens due to the sheer excitement radiating out of the blog post, video and/or photo. This time around we’re letting the content we receive speak for itself. So kick your MOJO into high gear and let your work convince us you’re the best for the job.

CEA is not responsible for technical difficulties and will not be liable for early, late, lost, misdirected or unsuccessful efforts to submit your content. MOJO winners must meet all eligibility requirements prescribed for their specific program. CEA reserves the right to cancel the promotion at any time.

Publicity
By embarking on your quest to become a CEA MOJO during the Spring 2012 semester, official MOJOs agree that CEA and any advertising or promotion company CEA selects may use MOJO names, likenesses, and additional information concerning the MOJOs, such as hometowns and states, for CEA's advertising purposes in any media worldwide, without further compensation. Official MOJOs agree that CEA may, in its sole discretion, (a) notify MOJOs’ colleges that the applicants are MOJOs, (b) send out press releases, and (c) announce the MOJOs in the CEA Study Abroad e-newsletter or through any other CEA social media. CEA is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of this discount offer, or in the announcement of MOJOs.

Release
CEA assumes no responsibility for any losses, claims, damages or injuries resulting from participating in this promotion or receiving, accepting, or utilizing a gift card and iPad2. By receiving, accepting, or utilizing a gift card and iPad2, MOJOs agree to release and hold harmless CEA and its employees, officers, directors, representatives and agents from and against any and all losses, claims, injuries, causes of action and damages (including, without limitation, direct, incidental, indirect, special, exemplary or punitive damages) arising out of or related to participation in CEA's promotion or the acceptance, receipt, use or misuse of the gift card and iPad.
