CEA Partner Institution: Macquarie University Location: Sydney, AustraliaPrimary Subject Area: Internships Level(s): 200 Instruction in: English Recommended Semester Credits: 6 Contact Hours: 240 Prerequisites: Internship Application and Interview Required Description Internships provide students with an opportunity to gain valuable work experience within a relevant organisation, while completing their studies in Australia. The internship will be a formal part of students' Macquarie studies and they will receive academic credit. Students will Intern for between 20 hours per week for 12 weeks on the Internship project and will be assessed by visits, interviews, reports and a major assignment. Internship projects can be completed in a variety of disciplines including business administration, marketing, biomedical sciences, computer science, media, communications, finance, psychology and public relations (others not mentioned will be considered).
