Café Journal
Café Journal mainly caters to a cool college crowd, though it also tends to attract swarms of gringos. Locals and foreigners alike flock to Café Journal for a cool drink in a fun and funky atmosphere. The restaurant/bar/disco spreads out over two stories with indoor and outdoor seating, as well as several dance floors. One of its many pluses is the friendly bilingual staff!
Cine Arte
Cine Arte is an art house theater located on the west side of Plaza Vergara. With its eclectic mix of Latin American and international movie showings, it is the perfect place to take some time out from studies while taking in a cool flick.
Playa Reñaca
Playa Reñaca has been one of the most popular tourist attractions since the mid-60s and the 1.3-km beach is growing in popularity. A vibrant sidewalk scene offers a wide selection of craft stalls, restaurants, ice-cream parlors, discos, cafes and shops.
