Eligibility Requirements

Minimum GPA: 2.7
Education Completed: High School Graduate - Students must be high school graduates by the start date in order to be eligible for this program.
Foreign Language Proficiency: High Intermediate & Above - High intermediate students are generally those with at least four to five semesters of college-level language experience and have taken at least one content course in their foreign language of study.
Course Prerequisites: Students must have declared a major related to Enviornmental Studies such as biology, ecology, botany, agriculture, marine biology or geology etc.

Intended for students at the high intermediate Spanish language level and above
Learn about Costa Rica’s biodiversity and develop skills in natural resource management and community education
Participate in a research or project based internship with the National System of Preservation Areas of Costa Rica
