Description
This course examines the relationship between sex, gender, politics, and society. Topics will include equality and the differences between the sexes, the role of nature and culture, the gender paradox of modern industrial society, gender roles, stereotypes and identities, prostitution, pornography, domestic violence, sexual harassment, and specific gender issues in the Czech Republic.
