Campus Director - Paris
As the Campus Director for Paris, Alexandra Mitchell is responsible for ensuring that all CEA standards are maintained. Alexandra oversees all educational programs - including short to long-term program planning, products and services in addition to maintaining the financial plan for Paris. She also manages student services, host institution relations, local vendor relations, program improvements, and staff.
Before joining CEA in 2004, Alexandra worked as the Program Coordinator for a US-based provider in Paris during which time she managed multiple aspects of the program. Alexandra was drawn to becoming a professional in the field of study abroad following her extensive first-hand experience as a student abroad: an initial travel program in Western Europe as a high school student led to two university programs as an undergraduate in Florence, Italy and Caen, France. As a graduate student, she chose to integrate directly into the French university system.
Alexandra received a D.E.A. (Diplôme d'Etudes Approfondies) from the Université de Paris-IV Sorbonne (France) in Art History, after receiving her M.A. in Art History at the same institution. Before relocating to Paris, Alexandra had completed a B.A. in French and Art History at Washington University in St. Louis (MO).
