Studio Apartments (Spring semester) - Standard
The Residéal Residence houses international students and tourists visiting the French Riviera. Students will live in self-contained studio apartments with 2 students per unit. Each air-conditioned studio is nicely furnished with a fully-equipped kitchen which has a sink, refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, oven and cooking utensils. There is a bathroom, WC, TV, sofa, table and chairs, closets and a balcony.
Other features of Residéal are a reception desk which is open 24/7, laundry room, 2 open-air swimming pools, café, a garden area and Wi-Fi for a fee that students will pay directly to Residéal.
The location is very convenient, with a 10 minute walk to the center of the Old Town and beaches of Antibes and a 5 minute walk to the train station. There is a bus stop in front of Residéal. The comfortable bus service to CERAM-EAI runs every 10 to 15 minutes and drops students right in front of the school every morning. The journey takes around 20 minutes.
Meals are not included with this option. Many students prefer to cook for themselves in their studios and experiment with regional fresh produce. You can buy supplies at the many colorful fresh food markets throughout Antibes-Juan-Les-Pins, as well as more conventional grocery stores. The Marché Provençal, located in the Antibes Old Town is the favorite with locals and is open Tuesday through Sunday, offering a vast array of fresh fruit, vegetables, fish and poultry. Please budget additional funds for groceries during the program. You may also wish to bring a cook book with your favorite recipes from home.
Apartments (CERAM Fall & Spring semester) - Standard
CEA students studying on the French Riviera will live in centrally located CEA apartments. Apartments vary in size, from two to three bedrooms and students usually share a bedroom with another CEA participant. The apartments are nicely furnished with a bed and comforter for each student, desk, closet or dresser, table and chairs, equipped kitchen with cooking utensils, refrigerator, stove, sink, shared bathroom, and washing machine. Keep in mind that each of the apartments is individually owned and it is impossible for two apartments to be identical in a city that is hundreds of years old.

All apartments are located approximately 25-35 minutes by public transportation from CERAM-EAI in nice neighborhoods of Antibes-Juan-Les-Pins. The comfortable bus service to CERAM-EAI runs every 10 to 15 minutes and drops students right in front of the school every morning.
Residence Hall: Couleurs Soleil (CERAM summer) - Standard
The "Couleurs Soleil" Residence is ideally located right in the center of Juan-Les-Pins, just one block from the sandy beaches and 50 meters from the train station.
Small studios for 4 students consist of an alcove with bunk beds and a living room/dining room/fully equipped kitchen in which there are 2 sofas that can be converted into single beds. There is a flat screen TV, table, chairs and a small balcony. Clever use of this small space has resulted in the creation of comfortable and functional living quarters for 4 students. Given the many attractions of Juan-Les-Pins during the month of June, students will certainly spend most of their free time enjoying the beach, playing sports and enjoying the local nightlife. The reception area is open to assist students several hours a day. Students can take the bus to school every morning from the promenade; the journey will take around 35 minutes.
Residence Hall: Castel Arabel (CIA summer) - Standard
The Residence Castel Arabel, built in Moorish style, is located less than one mile from the CIA school building, “Le Château”, in a quiet green neighborhood. It is typically no more than a 10-minute walk from class and a 5-minute walk to the sandy beaches of Juan-Les-Pins. For students who prefer not to walk the short distance to school, a shuttle bus is available every morning for EUR 1. The residence is also within 15 minutes walking distance from the Antibes Old Town, local markets and the CEA office. Students will enjoy its sprawling terrace and swimming pool. Castel Café is ideal for those interested in interacting with other international students from many different countries. There is no meal plan with this option, however, students can use the snack and drink vending machines available on site and have breakfast and lunch at the school on weekdays. There is an entertainment room with TV, DVD player, small library, snooker table and payphones. Two or three students will share a room with ensuite bathroom and WC.
Homestay - Upgrade (CIA Summer) - Upgrade
This upgraded housing option offers you the opportunity to live with a French family and experience true daily life on the French Riviera. If you are outgoing, independent and not afraid to take the language plunge, then living in a homestay while on the French Riviera could be a wonderful opportunity to immerse yourself into the French culture and language. Our homestays have been interviewed and screened, and most have hosted students for years. Breakfast is provided daily. Homestays are located throughout Antibes-Juan-Les-Pins and are anywhere between 15 to 45 minutes walk or 10 to 20 minutes by bus to class or downtown. Students will share a room with another international student.
