Student arriving before 6 p.m. on the start date of their program will be greeted at the Dublin (DUB) airport by a friendly CEA representative, who will take you to your CEA housing.

CEA offers an in-depth welcome orientation for the students in your program. CEA staff host a reception, where you'll meet your cohort, as well as go over what you need to know about living in Dublin and attending the CEA Global Campus. Topics will cover a variety of subjects including:
- Joint welcome party with European study abroad students
- Local customs
- Extracurricular activities
- CEA policies
- Health and safety information
CEA Global Education takes care of administrative and registration processes, as well as payment of tuition fees, at the academic institution in Dublin on behalf of students.

Our Dublin staff resides and works locally in Dublin. They'll meet you at the airport, provide you with valuable information about the city and guide you through acclimating to your new and exciting surroundings.

CEA organizes regular day and overnight trips to culturally and historically relevant destinations outside of Dublin, giving you a deeper understanding of Ireland as a whole, as well as surrounding sub-cultures, populations and landscapes. Examples include:

- Glendalough (early Irish monastic site in Wicklow mountains)
- Weekend in Galway, Connemara and Aran Islands
- And more!
CEA offers you a variety of cultural activities to help you connect with Dublin's culture. Examples include:
- Evening of Irish music and dancing
- Greyhound racing

- Paintball in Dublin's mountains
- Irish Sports - Gaelic Football, hurling

CEA's Dublin Staff organizes opportunities for you to socialize and interact with your classmates and other Dublin students in more casual settings. Examples include:

- Farewell dinner and party
As a student in Dublin you'll have opportunities to meet with locals, share in the Irish way of life, and do some good by volunteering your time and contributing to the community.

The CEA Global Campus in Dublin offers many opportunities for students to actively engage in the local culture through in- and out-of-class activities, tours, lectures and workshops.

It's important to stay connected while abroad, so CEA has arranged for you to have a cell phone to use during your time in Dublin. We've covered the rental and shipping fees and incoming calls are always free, so you only pay for the calls you make! Just be sure to order your phone before you leave home so you can take it with you.

The same site specialist who helped you plan for your program in Dublin is available to assist you with completing your university's process to obtain credit and check off any course requirements.

Once you complete your CEA program, you will receive one official transcript from your academic institution in Dublin as a part of your program price. You may opt to have this transcript automatically sent to your home institution 90 days after completion of your program and payment of any/all outstanding fees.
