Brigitt Relli

Program Director

As the Program Director for Florence, Brigitt Relli is responsible for day to day management including, but not limited to, student services, host institution relations, local vendor relations, program academics, and student evaluations. She also oversees office administration and provides support to the Campus Director. In addition Brigitt advises students on issues related to academics, cross-cultural information and health and safety, assists in management of city finances, and hires and trains other staff (and faculty).

A native of Florence, and of Dutch and Italian background, Brigitt has several years of experience working with American university students. Before joining CEA, Brigitt was the Director's Assistant at the Michigan, Wisconsin and Duke Study Abroad Program in Florence. Brigitt's passion for working in an international environment and with people from all over the world led her to pursue work as a flight attendant, and to later complete a certificate in Hotel and Spa Resort Management. She also holds a certificate in Indian Ayurvedic Massage, reflecting her strong interest in alternative medicine.

Brigitt studied languages during her educational career, which also included studying abroad in Scotland, Ireland, Germany and the US. These experiences helped her to develop a strong appreciation for the study abroad experience. Brigitt speaks Italian, English, Dutch, French and German.
