Here's what Cassandra has to say about Guadalajara

Guadalajara, the "City of Roses," has much to offer each and every student! We have an excellent university with a proven track record, a flurry of historic and cultural buildings surrounded by a sea of friendly people, very good quality and reasonably priced leisure activities, and readily available internet access to allow visitors to keep in touch with people back home. Guadalajara and its residents have a genuine desire to please and welcome visitors. We hope that visitors will return one day to renew friendships and spread the reputation of true Mexican hospitality.

Students seeking to improve their Spanish language and learn about the social and cultural aspects of Mexico can find no better place than Guadalajara, the country’s second largest city. Guadalajara is within 2-5 hours bus travel time to all the major historic Spanish colonial cities such as Guanajato, San Miguel de Allende and Zacatecas. The other likely benefit from your stay in Mexico will be contacts and friendships that will endure. The "Friendship Program" is designed to not only improve each student’s Spanish, but also provide the first stepping stone on the road to increased friendship and cultural understanding.

Personally, I look forward to greeting you all as new friends to my city, serving as a resource to you, and offering any advice you might need during your time in Guadalajara. I will be available during regular hours, and irregular, if the need exists. I will also provide you with my contact details in case you have a need for assistance. My objective is to ensure that you enjoy your stay while achieving your educational goals. I want to ensure that you return home safely with a sense of satisfaction, achievement and fond memories of your studies in Guadalajara.

I look forward to seeing you in Guadalajara!
