Topics have been established from a comprehensive perspective with the general objective that the students obtain a collective view of Spanish culture in its diverse manifestations. Even though there will be a general overview since the prehistoric times the course will focus on modern and contemporary times mainly, so the students may understand Spain today. Special emphasis will be dedicated to the present "Estado de las Autonomias", the many common cultural aspects that Spaniards share and also the differences that exist among our "Autonomies" such us language, traditions, cuisine, and folklore.
