Sep 23, 2010	Arrival/Program Begins Official Program Start Date. Students must arrive at the Granada Airport by 6.00pm on this date in order to be eligible for airport pickup. Students will then be transferred to their assigned housing.
Sep 24, 2010	Orientation Mandatory CEA Orientation will be held.
Sep 24, 2010	Welcome Reception All students Lunch: Meet all your CEA mates
Sep 26, 2010	Cultural Activity Guided visit to the Alhambra Palace and Generalife Gardens
Sep 27, 2010	Cultural Activity Bus City Sightseeing
Sep 27, 2010	Placement Exam Placement Exam for Arabic Cultural Studies will be held on this day.
Sep 28, 2010	Excursion CEA Excursion to Albaycin, the Arab neighbourhood; stop in a Tea House to try Arab tea.
Sep 28, 2010	Orientation Cultural and Social Activities Orientation will be held.
Sep 29, 2010	Cultural Activity Sports facilities Tour
Sep 29, 2010	Cultural Activity Visit to the Euroarab Foundation for Higher Studies & The School of Arabic Studies will take place. Students will be invited to a shawarma in a traditional Arab shop
Sep 30, 2010	Academic Orientation Mandatory Academic, Volunteering & Exchange Orientation will be held.
Oct 01, 2010	Excursion Daytrip to Cordoba through our partner University. Final date will be confirmed as soon as it is published by University.
Oct 04, 2010	Classes Begin Classes begin at Centro de Lenguas Modernas (CLM) on this day.
Oct 04, 2010 - Oct 07, 2010	Guest Lecture A lecture on "Introduction to Arabic language" by University of Granada professor will take place during this week. Final schedule will depend on students availability
Oct 06, 2010	Excursion CEA Excursion to Huerta de San Vicente & Parque García Lorca
Oct 08, 2010 - Oct 10, 2010	Excursion CEA Excursion to Morocco.
Oct 12, 2010	Holiday Pilar Festival (National holiday). No classes will be held.
Oct 13, 2010	Cultural Activity Exchange with Spaniards
Oct 15, 2010	Make-Up Class Mandatory Class for all students
Oct 18, 2010 - Oct 21, 2010	Guest Lecture A lecture on "The Muslim city of Granada" and a guided visit to the Arab neighbourhood & its monuments by University of Granada professor will take place this week. Final schedule will depend on students availability.
Oct 22, 2010	Excursion CEA Excursion to Carmen de los Mártires.
Oct 22, 2010	Make-Up Class Mandatory Class for all students
Oct 27, 2010	Cultural Activity Enjoy our delicious Churros con Chocolate, a very typical Spanish breakfast and snack.
Nov 01, 2010	Holiday All Saints Day (National Holiday). No classes will be held.

Nov 05, 2010 - Nov 07, 2010	Excursion Optional CEA Excursion to London at an additional fee. The deadline for students to signup is 9/1/2010.
Nov 08, 2010 - Nov 11, 2010	Guest Lecture A lecture on "The pleasures of Al-Andalus: gastronomy, festivals and music" by University professor will take place this week. Final schedule will depend on students availability

Dec 01, 2010	Cultural Activity Students will relax at the typical Arab Baths
Dec 03, 2010	Excursion CEA Excursion to Sacromonte, the gypsy neighbourhood.
Dec 06, 2010	Holiday Constitution Day (National Holiday). No classes will be held.
Dec 08, 2010	Holiday Inmaculate Conception (National Holiday). No classes will be held.
Dec 10, 2010	Farewell Reception CEA Farewell Reception will be held at a local restaurant.
Dec 10, 2010	Make-Up Class Mandatory Class for students taking 45 hours courses
Dec 13, 2010 - Dec 16, 2010	Final Exams Final exams will be held at Centro de Lenguas Modernas.
Dec 17, 2010	Program Ends/Move-Out Official Program End Date. Students must move out of housing no later than this day at noon.
