Aug 29, 2011	Arrival/Program Begins Official Program Start Date. Students must arrive at the Granada airport by 6.00 p.m on this date in order to be eligible for airport pickup.
Aug 30, 2011	Orientation Mandatory Orientation will be held.
Aug 30, 2011	Welcome Reception CEA Welcome Reception will be held. You will try typical food and get to know the other CEA semester participants.
Aug 30, 2011	Cultural Activity Bus city tour to give you a panoramic and global view of the city and to locate Granada's major attractions: The Alhambra, Cathedral, Royal Chapel, Science Park, Granada's bullring, and many others.
Aug 31, 2011	Cultural Activity Visit to the Mirador de San Nicolas in the Albaycin neighborhood and to a tea house.
Aug 31, 2011	Orientation Mandatory Orientation continues.
Sep 01, 2011	Orientation Visit to the sports facilities in Granada.
Sep 01, 2011	Placement Exam Placement Exam at the University of Granada will be held on this day. CEA staff willl meet students at the main Post Office and will bring them to the exam. Instructions & advice for the exam will be given during orientation.
Sep 02, 2011	Classes Begin Introductory month classes begin at the University of Granada on this day.
Sep 07, 2011	Cultural Activity Visit to the Euroarab Foundation for Higher Studies.
Sep 10, 2011	Excursion CEA Excursion to Alpujarras.
Sep 11, 2011	Cultural Activity Group visit to the impressive XI century fortress and Nasrid palaces of the Alhambra and Generalife gardens.
Sep 13, 2011	Cultural Activity Visit to Carmen de los Martires, the romantic park in Granada.
Sep 15, 2011	Holiday Day of Virgen de las Angustias local Holiday. No class. University and CEA office will be closed.
Sep 26, 2011	Cultural Activity Language exchange meeting with Spaniards.
Sep 30, 2011	Classes End Introductory month classes end at the University of Granada.
Oct 06, 2011	Classes Begin Semester classes at the University of Granada begin on this day.
Oct 08, 2011 - Oct 09, 2011	Excursion CEA overnight excursion to Gibraltar & Malaga.
Oct 12, 2011	Holiday Colombus Day. National Holiday. No classes will be held. University and CEA office will be closed.
Oct 18, 2011	Cultural Activity Language exchange meeting with Spaniards.
Oct 25, 2011	Cultural Activity Visit to the Science Park, an interactive museum of more than 70,000 square meters. The first of its kind in the south of Spain, it is also the most visited museum in Andalusia.
Oct 31, 2011 - Nov 01, 2011	Holiday Día de los Santos. No classes will be held. Office closed.
Nov 09, 2011	Cultural Activity Try delicious Churros con Chocolate at well-known Café Fútbol.
Nov 24, 2011	Cultural Activity Thanksgiving lunch.
Nov 25, 2011 - Nov 27, 2011	Excursion 3-day CEA Excursion to Cordoba (the capital of the Islamic caliphate in the Middle Ages) and monumental Seville.
Dec 06, 2011	Holiday Spanish Constitution Day. No classes will be held. CEA office will be closed.
Dec 08, 2011	Holiday Day of Virgen la Inmaculada. No classes will be held. CEA office will be closed.
Dec 13, 2011	Cultural Activity Farewell Activity: Flamenco Show in the caves located in the gypsy neighborhood of Sacromonte.
Dec 15, 2011 - Dec 20, 2011	Final Exams Final exams will be held at the University of Granada.
Dec 21, 2011	Program Ends/Move-Out Official Program End Date. Students must move out of housing no later than this day at noon.
