Student arriving before 6:00 p.m. on the start date of their program will be greeted at the Federico García Lorca Granada Jaen (GRX) airport in Granada by a friendly CEA representative, who will take you to your CEA housing.

CEA Global Education takes care of administrative and registration processes, as well as payment of tuition fees, at the academic institution in Granada on behalf of students.

CEA's Granada Staff organizes opportunities for you to socialize and interact with your classmates in more casual settings. Examples include:

As a student in Granada you'll have opportunities to meet with locals, share in the Spanish way of life, and do some good by volunteering your time and contributing to the community.
- Primary and Secondary School Teaching Assistant: CEA participants will be accredited as “professors,” and may participate in all their extra-curricular activities and field trips for free; Interns will be in a class with a Spanish professor, but if they want to carry an activity alone, arrangements can be made accordingly under the Head of Studies’ approval
- Preschool educator assistant: you will be part of an educational project conducted by a team of educators, psychologists, speech therapists, a doctor and specialists in early childhood education
- Help the elderly by visiting them at their homes, take them on walks and so on
- Help the homeless to cover their basic needs and teach them reintegration to the social and labor market
- Assist people with mental disabilities by listening to them, teach them English or give them company
Our Granada staff resides and works locally in Granada. They'll meet you at the airport, provide you with valuable information about the city and guide you through acclimating to your new and exciting surroundings. The local CEA office assists in making our staff readily available to assist you, providing:
- A local perspective on additional travel opportunities in your host country
- Assistance in securing personalized services such as music lessons, sports clubs or volunteer opportunities
- Counsel and assist with cross-cultural information, culture shock, health issues, and emotional comfort
- Advocates for you on academic and housing issues
The University of Granada offers additional services as part of your study abroad program. Your CEA site specialist can go over with you what those are in detail, as can your international staff once you arrive in Granada.

Once you complete your CEA program, you will receive one official transcript from your academic institution in Granada as a part of your program price. You may opt to have this transcript automatically sent to your home institution 90 days after completion of your program and payment of any/all outstanding fees.
