Casa de Sevilla – Semester: Additional Fee / Summer: Standard
A CEA Casa de Sevilla is an apartment or flat owned by an individual who oversees the building and provides students with full-board and cleaning service. This type of service will meet students’ needs by enabling a more personalized relationship with the apartment owner, and by providing a great way to budget living expenses. Each Casa de Sevilla offers students the benefits of an apartment, but also provides the comforts of a homestay such as meals, laundry, and cleaning. Residents of a Casa de Sevilla will receive three meals per day, Monday through Saturday, in addition to laundromat access or laundry service that will be arranged regularly. By choosing this option, students will live near the city center and the Guadalquivir River, 15-30 minutes away from the University of Seville and 45-55 minutes away from Pablo de Olavide University. Please note, this housing choice is limited and interested students are encouraged to apply several months in advance. Living in a Casa de Sevilla is perfect for students who are looking to share their experience in Seville with other CEA or Spanish students in a more independent environment. For program participants uncomfortable with living in a homestay or an apartment, aCasa de Sevilla allows each of its residents to live comfortably in its alternative setting.
Homestays - Semester: Additional Fee / Summer: Standard
CEA students may choose to be housed in a Spanish homestay located near the city center. Each homestay has been carefully chosen to ensure the best possible living arrangements for each student. Homestays may consist of a single señora (with or without children) or a traditional two-parent household. This housing option allows students to continue practicing Spanish outside of the classroom while learning about Spanish culture. In most cases, two or three students are housed with each family. Students living in homestays will be provided three meals per day, seven days per week as well as laundry service and cleaning. All CEA families are welcoming and generous with their home, but participants should remember that they are guests and will be expected to adapt to the traditions and rules of their host family. This option is perfect for students who are looking to experience family life in Seville and who are willing to adapt to the structure and values of the host culture and the family.
Residence Hall - Semester: Additional Fee / Summer: Standard
A Residence Hall allows students to feel comfortable living in a setting different than in a homestay or apartment. A Residence Hall is an apartment building which provides sleeping and residential quarters for university or college students. It is a traditional Seville building recently refurbished which offers 3 meals a day, Monday through Saturday, laundry, and cleaning service. Laundromat access or laundry service will be arranged regularly. This option is perfect for students who are willing to live in an international student environment in Seville. Students may be placed in single, double, or triple rooms. Academic Year students living in a residence hall will have to verify the availability of holiday housing. The Residence hall is located in downtown Seville. Students should expect a 30 minutes’ walk to the CEA Global Campus. All CEA housing is within a 15 – 30 minutes’ walk to the city center. This option is on a first come first serve basis and there are a limited number of spots. It is highly recommended that students interested in living in a residence hall apply early.
Apartments (Semester Only) - Standard
CEA students in Seville can choose to live in an apartment located throughout the city in quiet, safe neighborhoods near the city center. Apartments are 15-30 minutes away from the University of Seville and 45-55 minutes away from Pablo de Olavide University. By living in an apartment, students are able to enjoy their independence and the convenience of living near the city center. Apartments vary in size, from one to four bedrooms and students usually share a bedroom with another CEA participant. Students are responsible for purchasing and preparing their own meals. All apartments are equipped with a functional kitchen outfitted with basic appliances and utensils including a stove and a fridge/freezer. This option is perfect for students who are looking for independence and at the same time are willing to accept more responsibilities regarding apartment care and conservation. This option is on a first come first serve basis and there are a limited number of spots. It is highly recommended that students interested in living in an apartment apply early.

Independent Living
CEA highly recommends that students live in the housing provided. Requests for permission to arrange independent housing must be made on the online housing or paper application form as determined by your program no later than the application closure date. For academic year students, requests for permission to arrange independent living arrangements for the second semester must be made no later than the second semester's application closure date. Students whose requests are approved will receive a rebate for housing. CEA resident directors will not provide assistance with independent housing and will not speak or act on behalf of any student who chooses to pursue such arrangements. Rebates are not granted for students who move out of their CEA housing or choose to pursue independent living arrangements after the application closure date.
