London, England
July 7, 2005
Terrorist incidents have occurred in London, England this morning.
Our emergency response team has been in contact with all our students and staff members in both London and Brighton, and we are relieved to report that everyone has been accounted for and are safe.
Our students have been instructed to remain at their respective campuses until further notice. We understand the level of concern an incident of this nature this can raise while so far away from home. As part of our response plan, we are in the process of contacting parents and U.S. schools of students on our England programs to reassure everyone that their students are safe.
The CEA emergency response plan at our program sites and our U.S. headquarters ensures that we can communicate swiftly and effectively with our students in England. We are saddened to learn of this incident; we will continue to monitor this situation closely and will provide updates as they arise.
Parents or friends of CEA students who have additional questions or concerns, please call us at 1-800-266-4441.
Sincerely,
Brian Boubek
Executive Director
