Prizes

Grants- A $500 Grant will be issued to the first 70 eligible students (Recipients) based on Eligibility requirements set forth below. The grant will serve as a price reduction and be applied to the final program cost; it cannot be allocated for the application fee nor confirmation deposit. No cash or other substitution may be made, except by CEA, which reserves the right to substitute the Prize with another Prize of equal or greater value. The approximate retail value of the Grant Prize shall not exceed $500 USD.

Vouchers - A $1,000 STA travel voucher will be issued to the first 70 students who meet the requirements for the Prague Spring 2011 promotion. Recipient is solely responsible for all expenses not expressly included in the voucher, including, without limitation, taxes, transportation, gratuities, transfers, charges for oversized or excess baggage, and travel upgrades or changes. Any passports or other required travel documents associated with traveling outside of the United States are the sole responsibility of the recipient.

Eligibility

  • The Prague Spring 2011 September Promotion is only available for students applying to CEA Spring 2011 Semester programs in Prague, Spain.
  • CEA is offering a Grant and Travel voucher to the first 70 students to apply online to an eligible CEA program between September 13th and September 24th, 2010 with the following promotional codes: Prague11
  • In order to claim the voucher, the following criteria must be met:
    • Withdrawal date for student’s eligible Spring 2011 program has passed
    • Student payment status is in good standing with CEA
  • Not valid with any other promotional offers or discounts.
  • Applicants who complete an application prior to or after the timeframe of the promotion, will not be granted any price adjustment or refund

Determination of Recipients

Recipients will be determined according to when CEA receives their application, which is time stamped by CEA at the time of receipt. This time is according to the Pacific Time Zone and the time stamp from CEA's system. Paper applications will be date stamped on the day they are received for processing. The time/date stamp issued by CEA will be used in determining Recipients. CEA is not responsible for technical difficulties and shall not be liable for early, late, lost, misdirected or unsuccessful efforts to submit an application. Recipients must meet all eligibility requirements prescribed for their specific program.

Publicity

*Except where prohibited, by applying to one of the specified eligible programs during the promotional period and using the promotional code, Prague11, Recipients agree that CEA and any advertising or promotion company CEA selects, may use Recipients' names, likenesses, and additional information concerning the Recipients, such as hometowns and states, for CEA's advertising purposes in any media worldwide, without further compensation. By using the promotional code, Recipients agree that CEA may, in its sole discretion, (a) notify Recipients' colleges that the applicants are Recipients, (b) send out press releases, and (c) announce the Recipients in the CEA Study Abroad e-newsletter. CEA is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of this discount offer, or in the announcement of Recipients.

Release

CEA assumes no responsibility for any losses, claims, damages or injuries resulting from participating in this promotion or receiving, accepting, or utilizing a Grant or Voucher. By receiving, accepting, or utilizing a Grant or Voucher, Recipients agree to release and hold harmless CEA and its employees, officers, directors, representatives and agents from and against any and all losses, claims, injuries, causes of action and damages (including, without limitation, direct, incidental, indirect, special, exemplary or punitive damages) arising out of or related to participation in CEA's promotion or the acceptance, receipt, use or misuse of the Grant or Voucher.

Disputes

Any and all disputes arising out of or related to these Official Rules, including, without limitation, the meaning and interpretation of these Official Rules, the administration of this promotion, the determination of Recipients, the award of a Grant or Prize or the rights and obligations of any Recipient and CEA concerning a Grant or Voucher, will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Furthermore, any action or proceeding arising from or related to these Official Rules shall be brought in a federal or state court located in Maricopa County, Arizona and its jurisdiction.

A copy of these Official Rules and/or a list of Grant and Voucher Recipients are available by mailing a self-addressed, stamped envelope to the following address before October 30, 2010:
