Collaboration that Counts: Integrating Career Exploration on Campus with Study Abroad

Explore the importance of linking on-campus career services with study abroad programs. Although clearly adding value, cases of effective partnering among key offices on campus with program staff overseas are still rare. Presenters offer both theory and practice on linking career services, academic units, and education abroad offices both on campus and on-site.

Sindt is responsible for the development and implementation of custom group and faculty-led initiatives, including overall program planning, development and adherence to CEA academic policies and procedures. Dr. Sindt works closely with faculty and administrators from colleges and universities throughout the U.S. to structure programs that meet the programmatic and academic needs of the home institution.

Dr. Scott G. Blair ensures that academic policies and procedures are followed and provides support to the faculty to ensure academic program integrity. More specifically, Dr. Blair makes recommendations for faculty appointments, schedules courses, holds regular faculty meetings, manages student and faculty grievances, recommends curriculum updates, and oversees the day-to-day academic activities of the Paris programs.
