Program Details
Students will enroll for 1 course at the University of Belgrano. Two options are available. Courses meet approximately 3-4 hours per day, generally 4 days per week.
Course Options:
- "Spanish Language"
- Taught at beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels. Students will take a placement test at the beginning of the program to determine their level of proficiency and course placement
-OR-
- "Comparative History of Argentina and Latin America"
- This course will be taught in English

Eligibility
This program is designed specifically for collegiate level mens soccer players.
Other eligibility requirements include:
Age: 18 years and older
Grade Point Average: Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.2* (some exceptions may apply)
CEA generally requires a minimum 2.5 GPA standard, but will allow a low minimum GPA of 2.2 with the possibility of exceptions to 2.0.
Students with a 2.6 and higher GPA will be academically eligible for the program with standard application documentation and an official transcript.
Students with a 2.0 - 2.5 will be required to submit additional documentation to be considered for academic eligibility including:
- An official transcript
- 2 Letters of Recommendation (At least one letter must be an academic recommendation, preferably in the field of study of the study abroad program. Should stress the student’s maturity, work ethic and academic skills and/or development. The second letter may be a personal recommendation from a coach, mentor, employer, etc.)
- Personal Statement (Personal statement should comment on their reason for having a low GPA, why the student is interested in studying abroad, and how the student feels studying abroad will be beneficial to them in their current studies, as well as future academic/career goals.)
