Cassandra Peacock
Program Director
As the Program Director for Guadalajara, Cassandra Peacock is responsible for day to day management including, but not limited to, student services, host institution relations, local vendor relations, program academics, and student evaluations. In addition Cassandra advises students on issues related to academics, cross-cultural information and health and safety, assists in management of city finances, and hires and trains other staff (and faculty).
Cassandra is of mixed heritage, Mexican and English, and because of this she has an impressive command of both languages. While in school she taught English language to Mexican students of all ages. After her graduation, she worked in the hotel industry in England focusing on customer service and problem resolution. Her desire to travel led her next to working onboard a cruise ship based in Miami, again focusing on customer service and problem resolution. This experience also allowed her to work with people of 65 different nationalities, thus providing an opportunity for cultural understanding and respect.
Cassandra graduated from the Universidad del Valle de Atemajac, Guadalajara with a major in Tourism. She is currently working on her Masters in International Business and looks forward to graduating in Fall 2008.
