Choose Your Program & Research Destinations

This isn't the time to play follow the leader. Do your homework and choose a program and destination that's a good fit for you!

Check Your Eligibility

Not all programs have the same requirements, so look around and make sure you're ready to apply. Your admission counselor can help you with this.

Get Courses Approved

We provide you with course syllabi ahead of time so you can show them to your campus advisor for approval. This will help your credits transfer more easily when you return home.

Secure Your Financing

Will your university transfer your financial aid toward the cost of your study abroad program? Get this pinned down now so you can go abroad worry-free.

Review CEA's Policies

This step will help you fully understand what you can expect from your program. Yes, this step is not the most exciting task – but you don't want to be caught unprepared in a foreign country.

Apply for Your CEA Program

When you're ready, click the "Apply Now" button in your MyCEA Account. A navigation bar on the left of your application will help you track your progress and tell you when you've completed all of the necessary steps.

Submit Required Application Materials

After you've completed your application, you'll see a list of materials required for acceptance in your program, including a college transcript. Be sure to follow through on these items or your application will be considered incomplete.

Eligibility Requirements

Eligibility varies by program, but below are our general eligibility requirements. Please consult with your CEA Admissions Counselor if you do not meet these requirements and are interested in our programs:

  • I am 18 years old or over.
  • I am a high school graduate or have the equivalency of a high school diploma.
  • I have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50.
