University of Cincinnati Study Abroad

All applications for this program are due by April 15, 2009. All application materials must be completed at this time. Students with incomplete applications may be considered ineligible.

How to Apply

The application process for University of Cincinnati's Study Abroad Program in Port Elizabeth, South Africa in conjunction with CEA is as follows:

CEA Guidelines

All students will be assigned a CEA advisor to assist with the application process. Prompt responses and attention to advisor emails will help simplify the application process.

1. You will be required to create a MyCEA Account, complete the CEA online application, and mail in an unofficial transcript. The fees normally required for the online application will be waived. Also, please be advised that the programs you will have to choose from are clearly marked as UC programs.
2. Once your MyCEA Account is created, you will also have to complete the following CEA documents online via your account:
   1. Medical Questionnaire
   2. Emergency contact information
   3. Flight information
   4. Passport and/or visa information
   5. Place of birth
   6. Housing application
   7. Pasport size photos (usually 6)
   8. $300.00 security deposit
      1. There is a refundable security deposit in the amount of $300.00 that you will be required to pay by May 1, 2009. The security deposit will be refunded to you no later than 90 days after completion of your program. You should receive a complete refund of the $300.00 provided that there are no damages to your accommodation, excessive cleaning fees or other outstanding charges such as lost keys, library fines, etc.
