How To Apply - Study Abroad in Paris, France with the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse

Step One: Interested? Let us know!

First, indicate your interest in studying abroad with your university’s faculty-led or group program and CEA by completing the “Create a MyCEA Account” form on this page. Once you have created your MyCEA Account, your CEA Advisor will contact you to discuss the program and application process.

Next, contact your university study abroad office or the professor leading the program to indicate your interest in the program and complete any screening and application requirements for the program.

Step Two: Apply Online

Once you have been approved by your university to participate in the program, your CEA Advisor will assist you with completing your online CEA application using your MyCEA Account. Contact your CEA Advisor with any questions or to start your application.

Using your online MyCEA account you will need to submit the following:

  • Completed CEA online application by November 4, 2011
  • $300 refundable security deposit by November 4, 2011

Step Three: Finish the Paperwork

You will be assigned a CEA Site Specialist to assist you in ensuring you have all the necessary documents submitted before your program begins. Most programs require students to submit the following documents:

  • Passport Information
  • Medical Questionnaire
  • Housing Application
  • Emergency Contact Information
  • Health Insurance Registration
  • State Department Registration
  • Flight details (within 21 days of departure)
